Another two months have passed, and that means it's time to share some more music.
This playlist is a bit of an experiment, starting out with some moodier tunes and escalating towards a decidedly happier, spirit-lifting finale. The usual smattering of older and newer tracks are here as usual, including some brand new, as-yet-officially-unreleased music from All Thieves and One eskimO, both featuring the vocals of Kristian Leontiou and produced by Rollo Armstrong, as well as a track from the supposedly never-to-be-released collaboration between the prolific and talented Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse, featuring Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips on lead vocals.
From the local Detroit music scene, there's a track from the stunning, must-have debut from The Summer Pledge, as well a new tune from the new record by the increasingly popular Deastro. Things kick off with a classic tune from DJ Shadow, who reappears later as part of the original UNKLE lineup.
Finally, there's another track from Doves' newest masterpiece, the beautiful electropop of Owl City, and closing things out is the breathtaking finale of Weaver At The Loom's debut EP, a song so powerful that your very soul is at question if it doesn't move you.
