Sunday Funnies: Playing with your Wii

I knew one of the good old gaming blogs would come through! 

Thanks to the fine folks over at Kotaku, Wii owners who might have missed out on Saturday Night Live's skit now have a chance to laugh at what everybody has been laughing at for the last two years: The Wii has a funny name.

Yes, it's an old joke, but it's still hysterical to watch Alec Baldwin, Bill Hader, and Jason Sudeikis crumple on the couch in exhaustion after a particularly intense session with their Wii.

Yeah, I know this is from last week's SNL, but the hysterical sketch about the Wii from last night's Alec Baldwin episode isn't on Hulu, so I'm embedding this video because I love pretty much anything Andy Samberg does. I guarantee you will walk around singing this, whether you realize it or not.

Sunday Funnies: Batman Goes Ballistic

You may have heard about Christian Bale's profanity-laced tirade on the set of Terminator: Salvation.  Apparently, the Director of Photography continually walked in the actor's sight lines during takes, and Bale loses it.

I happen to find things like this funny.  We all tend to put celebrities up on pedestals, as if they're some sort of superhuman life forms that look down on us puny mortals.  I enjoy moments where we're exposed to celebrities at their worst.  It's even funnier that anyone can get away with a rant like this and still keep their job.  Imagine if you or I went off on a coworker like this in our offices. 

Clearly I am in the wrong line of work.

Sunday Funnies: Jizz In My Pants

I am appalled that this song was not nominated for a Grammy!  This is clearly the best song ever recorded.

This originally aired on the December 6th episode of Saturday Night Live and I have probably watched it about a hundred times since then.  It's from the upcoming Lonely Island album, Incredibad.  Lonely Island features SNL cast member Andy Samberg, and writers Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone and are responsible for some of the most popular SNL skits in the last few years including "Lazy Sunday" and "Dick In A Box".

And yes, that is Justin Timberlake playing the janitor in the grocery store.
