It's been a while. As is often the case, I get burned out on writing, then after a while I get the urge to do it again. Good thing it's just a hobby and not a job, huh?
The ol' blog has a new layout, partly because I stopped paying for TypePad premium, but also because I just wanted a change of scenery. Apart from that, it will be business as usual around here. I'll be reviewing games I complete, writing the occasional feature article (A History of Video Games, A Work of Box Art, Crappy Custom Cabinets), and maybe the occasional collection update.
Speaking of...
I'm currently sitting at 3,255 games. Big Box PC Games are the largest part of my collection at 447, which is about 13% of the entire thing. SEGA Genesis remains in second place with 298, and PS4 is in third with 266. In case you were wondering, yes, I did obtain both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X at launch. It's difficult to catalogue XSX games because they're multigenerational, but I've got a decent little collection of 39 PS5 games.
Anyhow, I'll get to reviewing a few of the games I've beaten recently in the next few days. I'm currently battling a nasty cold, so it's a perfect excuse to get back into writing.
